Valentine’s Theme Week was extra special this year because we got to kick it off with a Valentine’s Day party! From infants to toddlers, preschoolers to Kindergarten, it was quite a day of love throughout Newport!
Classrooms had parties to celebrate the day of love. They read books, played with balloons and in sensory bins, made conversation heart catapults, and engaged in art projects. Some teachers even made fun activities for their students such as a bean bag toss, sticker dot heart, and a break and find the prize heart! It sure was some good old fashion fun!
It was also a good excuse for a photo op! Classrooms set up cute backdrops to capture the extra cuteness our students brought on this special day!
And of course… there was some dancing and treats!
